Our 1st Better Bites Social Gathering on June 27th hosted by Better Bites Vice-President David Levy and Patti Harrison, co-owners of Jakes Natural Fine Foods was a fun time and wonderful benchmark. 50 guests mingled with each other over spirits, Pure Rain water, and amazing food lovingly prepared by Better Bites Members and Friends. The 1st time in our 3 year journey together that we’ve taken time to relax and just enjoy each others’ company. The gathering was a welcome change of pace for all and we will do it again soon!

Congratulations to Better Bites Member and 2010 sofi Gold Winner, The Sticky Toffee Pudding Company for winning Specialty Outstanding Food Innovation (SOFI) in the Outstanding Baked Good Category.

The NASFT sofi Awards honor the best of the best in specialty foods and beverages. The 2010 sofi Gold Winners were announced June 28 at a red carpet Ceremony.
This is a record year for sofi. NASFT members submitted the most entries ever, 2,257 across all 33 Awards categories, up from the prior record in 2008 of 2,191. sofi Gold voting took place at the 2010 Summer Fancy Food Show in New York City. Find out more about the 2010 Competition. Click here
